Tragic Accident
It is with great sadness that on Sunday 5th August, a long standing member Tony Birch and his son Ryan were tragicly killed in a light airplane accident.
Ryan (15yrs) was naturally talented on the water especially his passion Wakeboarding, where earlier this year he won his division in a national wakeboard competition, also in the national kids coaching compertition only 2 weeks ago.
Tony was a fantastic family man and was known for his great sense of humor, his practical jokes and laughter will be missed.
Our deepest thoughts and sympathy go out to the Family and friend especially Leslie (Wife and Mother) and Craig (Son and Brother) at this very difficult time
There has been a book of condolence left in the club where Leslie and Craig would like people leave there thoughts and comments.

we are deeply troubled by this tragic event last sunday and still cannot accept the outcome, ryan and tony will be sadly missed from our family of members and personal social circle. please accept our deepest condolences and the small comfort that our thoughts are with lesley and craig each and every day.

im gonna miss u ryan n tony!!! i can’t belive it…2 verry verry valuable n preciouse lives taken at once!!! neither of them deserved this my heart is with lesley, older bro craig n family…im so sorri for your tragic loss…

i cant belive that sum1 sooooo talented cud get killed so instantly its a tragic accident and i give real sympathy to the mom and brother cus he lost his dad and bro and she lost her son and husband

ryan birch; a pupil at codsall high school. . also in my french class & in my old tutor group was a great person. you could have a good laugh with him. on Friday 12th October codsall high school had a non-uniform day in ryans memory. .we had to wear somwthing pink because apparently that was his favourite colour at the time.. we are also having a bench with a plaque on sayin his name and having it in the school..we are also having a notice board with stuff about him and his wateboarding. we currently have a comment book for people that want to write a message. this book will be given to his mom at a later date. we also have a special award in his name for year11 at the end of the year. one person will get this award. i just want to say he is greatly missed by most people at school. the school has not forgotten about him and never will.
i would like to say that i will never forget you birchey. . no more cheeky you in french and there will be no more 10-12 without you birchey. . there will never be a 10-12 again, its not possible. miss you and i will never forget you. my thoughts go to his mom and brother. . i hope your doing ok. just to say lesley, your son was an amazin person. =] he will not be forgotten.
